A/P Tan Aik Ling brought the afternoon to a close by sharing the strengths and weaknesses highlighted by the judges and revealing the ESEPP 23/24 theme, "Applying STEM to Create a Sustainable Tomorrow".

Addressing how the S-T-E-M quartet was used to design their lesson idea on, "Think Like a Sea Turtle, Design Like a Polymath", the second winning team from the secondary category comprised of members from four different schools (Woodlands Secondary School, School of Science and Technology Singapore, River Valley High School and Queenstown Secondary School).

Winning team members from Punggol Primary School gave their presentation on, "Think Like a Fowler, Design Like an Engineer" virtually. Students had to address the problem statement, "How might we achieve a bird-free canteen?"

Keynote speaker, Mr Jagmal Singh, Chief Technology Officer from Online Pajak touched on the need to be "paranoid" and optimistic at the same time during his years of working in technology-based industries.
