ESEPP 23/24 Award Ceremony

Ms Karen Wong, Singapore and Government Affairs Director of ExxonMobil shared the importance of STEM education in being at the forefront of addressing complex global challenges.

A/P Tan Aik Ling, core member of meriSTEM@NIE touched on the Creator's Project, inviting the audience to consider the role of inventions and innovation in our daily life.

Our keynote speaker, Mr Jason Tan of GreenLoopFarms shared his journey in creating a sustainable eco-friendly and tech-infused farm and his hopes for future generations to establish a better connection with their food sources.

Team members from St. Anthony's Primary started off the winning schools' presentations by showcasing their collaborative science and social studies lesson idea on upcycling.

From the secondary school category, members from CHIJ St. Joseph's Convent presented their STEM lesson idea centred around reducing carbon emissions.

Dunman High School submitted two entries to this year's ESEPP competition and presented their winning entry on creating a sustainable floating city.

Rounding up the winners for ESEPP 23/24 was the team from Kent Ridge Secondary School who shared their STEM lesson experiences on designing a mini cloud garden.
